Infused Water



So according to my mom (Hi, Mom!), you can make detox water by cutting up fruit and/or herbs and putting them in your drinking water. When we visit my parents on Sundays, Mom always has a nice big pitcher of detox water sitting on the table.

And according to some googling I just did, she's right! Drinking water is one of the most effective ways to help flush harmful toxins from our bodies. Fruit and herb infusions can super charge the water to help flush out those toxins.

So not only does tossing a lemon in your water help with detoxing, but it tastes great and it helps make drinking water fun. I think it's a great idea to drink water all throughout the day. I personally aim to drink about a gallon each day. This detox water really makes it delicious, fun and easy.

Infused Water
Ingredients:
1. Fruit and/or herbs (oranges, cucumbers, lemon, grapefruit, apples, cilantro, parsley, mint, whatever your heart desires!)

2. Water

Directions:
Chop up your favorites, toss them in your water and drink up!
